Notes

Philip H. Anselmo
«It was an intimidating thing for me to perform in the studio at the time. The rest of the band kicked ass. Pantera was a live band by nature, so singing to achieve the precise notes and pronunciations in such a sterile atmosphere was awkward. But Terry Date came up with an ingenious idea: port wine! He claimed Chris Cornell drank it because it “warmed” the throat. Whatever. It helped.»
